Maths TeachMeet Event
Hounsdown School would like to invite you to a Maths Networking Mathsmeet event on 11th July.
This event is open to all colleagues within the educational sector from Primary through to Higher Education Level. The event would welcome colleagues at all stages of their teaching career. We would like to welcome colleagues to share good Mathematical practice (market place/ networking style delivery approach) in any of the following topics:
Variation effect and similar strategies
Teaching new GCSE specification (aiming for level 9 and delivering the level 9 topics)
Generic pedagogy: Thinking Hard strategies, Whole School Numeracy (relative to all subjects and level of experience)
Use of new technologies in Maths
Assessment and tracking procedures
Development of curriculum from KS1 and beyond
